What makes a useful photograph?

A professional photograph is not required. What matters is that the important features are visible enough to work from.

Best starting point

Clear, natural and easy to read

  • Faces and important features are visible
  • The image is reasonably sharp and well lit
  • The original file is used where possible
  • Every person or pet is identifiable
May need extra care

Still worth sending for review

  • Very small, dark or compressed photographs
  • Faces covered by glare, shadows or objects

Elegir una foto adecuada

Siempre que sea posible, utiliza la imagen original en alta resolución, evita filtros intensos y asegúrate de que los rostros no estén recortados ni cubiertos. En las fotos de grupo, cada sujeto debe verse con claridad.
